Submission of an entry to the 2022 Global Games New Zealand Junior Rugby Festival, serves as acknowledgement to our Terms and Conditions
1. Team responsibility
By entering the Global Games New Zealand Junior Rugby Festival, you acknowledge that each team member that enters to play in the festival is in sound physical condition and health, with no players carrying any injuries that will affect their ability to play the game safety.
You agree to use your best efforts to prevent injury or harm to team members whilst participating in or attending Global Games New Zealand Junior Rugby Festival. In doing so you agree to waive all claims against Global Games (including its Directors, employees, event coordinators, contractors, officials and volunteers), and such other persons involved in running the festival.
You agree to make sure all team members, management and supporters that will travel with the team are free from any symptoms of Covid-19 and measles two weeks prior to the festival, as well as during the festival.
2. Injury Procedures
If during the Global Games New Zealand Junior Rugby Festival a player sustains an injury or illness you authorise the appointed sports injury personnel to perform and administer such emergency medical attention as they think is necessary.
3. Waiver of Liability for Personal Injury
The Global Games New Zealand Junior Rugby Festival (including its directors, employees, event coordinators, contractors, officials and volunteers) and others involved in the running of the festival do not accept any liability for injury to any team member during the event.
4. Damage to Personal Property
Each team shall ensure that any personal property brought into the venue is safe from theft or damage. The Global Games New Zealand Junior Rugby Festival excludes all liability howsoever arising for any damage to, or theft of, personal property.
5. Promotional Material
The Global Games New Zealand Junior Rugby Festival has the right to use at its discretion any photographic and/or video images taken of any competitors/officials while participating at The Global Games New Zealand Junior Rugby Festival, and any information provided by you, in any form of social media, websites, media, art, advertising, trade, visual documentary, promotional material, merchandise, film coverage.
If you do not agree to this, notice must be given to Global Games in writing 14 days before the event. All images will be stored in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993. The purpose of photographic and/or video images taken is to use them on future promotional material for the festival, as well as in local and national media and social media reports during and post event.
All teams will abide by the rules and regulations set by NZRU Laws of the game incorporating the Small Blacks Development Model and guidelines for each age group, along with event rules set by Global Games. You agree that failure to comply with the designated rules may result in your disqualification from the event and that you are responsible for any consequences of your failure to observe the rules and regulations.
7. Refund Policy
If you withdraw from The Global Games New Zealand Junior Rugby Festival 2021 after the 1st of July there is a strict NO REFUND policy NO EXCEPTIONS! The refund policy will be applied in every case without regard to the reason for any withdrawal. Fees are not transferable from one event to another.
8. Cancellation Policy
The organisers The Global Games New Zealand Junior Rugby Festival reserve the right to cancel the event if, upon consultation with relevant local, health or government authorities, it is deemed unsafe to proceed with the festival. Reasons for cancellation may include adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, or epidemics (including but not limited to measles and the Coronavirus).
In the unlikely event of a cancellation, you agree that The Global Games New Zealand Junior Rugby Festival will not be liable for any costs incurred by you as a result of the cancellation including accommodation or transport costs already Incurred.
